About Contra (NES) – browser version with touch controls
Contra, the NES run-and-gun, playable in the browser with no install. On phones: virtual joystick plus A/B buttons; on desktop: WASD to move, J to fire, K to jump. Infinite lives and hold-to-fire for stage practice, all 8 stages. Pages in English, Chinese and Vietnamese; optional Android APK (8.0+, arm64, about 25 MB). Runs the NES game in an in-browser emulator; players don't need to supply any game files. Unofficial, non-commercial fan project, not affiliated with Konami; the site footer credits the original game and characters to Konami. Submitted by the site's developer.
